Anyone who has been involved in Sales, knows that their opportunity to actually make a sale dramatically increases, if they can get the “decision maker” in the room for the presentation. This point is covered in Sales 101.
All presentations done without the “decision maker” in the room are only done, in an effort to “earn the right” to get in front of the “decision maker”.
The Republicans had passed a bill to avoid a government shutdown with the belief, that they had the approval of Donald Trump, and maybe they did, however, they learned, the hard way that Donald Trump is NOT the “decision maker”.
The Republicans learned the hard way, that Fox News, Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh were the actual “decision makers”, when they forbid Trump from approving the deal.
The question now is, who should the Democrats negotiate with when they take control of the House on January 3, 2019?
- Should they negotiate with the Republicans in the Congress?
- Should they negotiate with the Republicans in the Senate?
- Should they negotiate with Donald Trump?
Sales 101 would advise that the Democrats negotiate with the “decision makers”, and recent history has proven that neither the Republicans or Donald Trump are the “decision makers”.
So, Sales 101 would suggest that the Democrats negotiate directly with the Fox News, Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh, but WHO ELECTED THEM!!!
