“No Mask On Me People” think a 99.5% Covid-19 survival rate is good. IS IT?

“No Mask On Me People” brag about a 99.5% Covid-19 survival rate as if it is a good thing.

The CDC says if you have the virus between the ages of 0 to 70, you have a 99% survival rate. And if you’re over 70, the survival rate is nearly 95%.

Let’s pretend the “No Mask On Me People” are correct when they claim Covid-19 has a 99.5% survival rate, and let’s USE THEIR NUMBERS:

In 2019 Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State and many other College Football Stadiums held football games with over 100,000 attendees per game. If for every 100,000 fans who attended one of these football games, 99.5% of them DID NOT die, that would have left 500 DEAD FANS each game. How long would these Colleges be allowed to have these football games if 500 people died every game?

In 2019 the Airline Industry averaged 188,901 flights per day. If 99.5% of them DID NOT crash, that would leave 944 Plane Crashes per day. With these odds, EVERY business traveler who flies out every Monday morning, and returns home every Friday night, would die in four (4) years.

The American Population is 331,000,000. If we all get Covid-19, and 99.5% of us survive, ONE (1) MILLION 655 THOUSAND of us would die. IS THIS SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE BRAGGING ABOUT?

The United States has had 11,671,913 Covid-19 Cases.

The United States has had 254.001 Covid-19 Deaths.

The United States TOTAL Covid-19 survival rate is: 97.8%

Recalculate the above scenario’s with a 97.8% survival rate. See what the results are.

  1. How many of the dead had pre-existing conditions? Obesity, smoking, etc? I fell like you are being intellectually being dishonest here.

    1. I think I understand what you are saying. You are saying that if a plane crashes and kills 300 people, but 100 of them had pre-existing conditions, should we say only 200 people died from the plane crash? Got it.

    1. I did not moderate your comment because I have not been on this site. I was busy watching Trump get evicted from the White House, and now enjoying this time without the Trump Crime Family.
