Donald Trump and Michael Corleone

Posted 12/13/2018

I was reading the absolutely ridiculous tweets from Donald Trump about Michael Cohen. Last week, Trump called Cohen “Weak and Not Very Smart”, which begs the questions:

  1. Why would Donald Trump employ him to be his personal attorney for over ten (10) years if he was “Weak and Not Very Smart”?
  2. Why would Donald Trump promote him to Vice-President of The Trump Organization if he was Weak and Not Very Smart”?
  3. Why would the Republican Party make him the deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee if he was “Weak and Not Very Smart”?

This week, Donald Trump is blaming Michael Cohen for any illegal Campaign Finance violations that occurred. Trump claims that Cohen did not tell him they were illegal, and he did not know it was illegal, even though Cohen had told Trump, in a taped conversation, that they would need to set up a separate company, to use to make the payments from. This raises more questions:

  1. If it was legal, why did Trump agree to set up a separate company to run the payments through instead of simply writing a check out of the Trump Corporation accounts?
  2. If it was legal, why did Trump spend a year claiming that it never happened?
  3. If it was legal, why didn’t Trump include the payments on his Campaign Finance statements?
  4. Why would Donald Trump agree to a plan designed by someone who was “Weak and Not Very Smart”

I watched the Godfather for the 300th time, and there is a scene where Michael Corleone explains his plan to kill Captain McLuskey and Virgin “The Turk” Sollozzo to Sonny Corleone, Clemenza, Tessio and Tom Haden.

I have probably watched this movie over 300 times, but never in the movie have I heard Tom Haden tell Michael Corleone that killing Sollozzo and McLuskey was illegal.

Does that mean that Michael Corleone is innocent too?

Chief Of Staff Position

Posted 12/11/2018

I received a call today from Donald Trump. He asked if I would consider becoming his next Chief of Staff. I inquired as to why he thought I would be qualified for the position, and he said he was told I was an older white man. I replied that I was, and Trump told me that was all he needed to know.

Being such a big decision, I decided to put a list of Pros and Cons together to help me make my decision.

Pros:

  1. Reporting directly to the President of the United States is a very important position.
  2. National Recognition, TV appearances.
  3. I always wanted to see the Oval Office.
  4. The opportunity to meet other heads of State.
  5. The ability to tell Mitch McConnell to “go fuck off, the President is not available”
  6. The chance to block Devin Nunes’ access to the White House.
  7. The pleasure of watching her expression when I tell Sarah Sanders, she is fired.
  8. The trill of going on Fake Fox News and telling Sean Hannity that he is full of shit.
  9. Trump was upset that Jeff Sessions did not inform him that he was going to recuse himself from the Russia Probe, before accepting the Attorney General position. Can you imagine how pissed Trump would be if I did not tell him, that I want him impeached, before accepting the Chief of Staff position?
  10. The possibility of watching Donald Trump removed from the White House in handcuffs.
  11. The excitement of wondering who would play me in the movie “The Trump Crime Family.”

Cons:

  1. Reporting directly to Donald Trump would feel like a demotion from other positions I have held.
  2. It is very difficult to work for someone that you know is not qualified to hold their position.
  3. It is only a Temp job, the average Trump Chief of Staff only lasts 11 months.
  4. The humiliation to my family, because my name would be connected to the Trump Administration.
  5. The challenge of trying to stop Trump from doing illegal activities.
  6. The potential legal fees I may incur defending myself, because I might be considered “Guilty by Association”
  7. The possibility of being criticized and insulted on Twitter by Trump.
  8. It appears that Special Council Robert Mueller is well on his way towards bringing down the Trump Crime Family, and probably does not need my assistance.

My Decision:

After reviewing the above items, talking to my family, and giving Mr. Trump’s offer serious consideration, I was still on the fence about accepting the Chief of Staff position.

However, before I reached my decision, I received an offer from a local Hamburger Fast Food Restaurant to be the Assistant Manager of their French Fry Department. I have decided to accept that position instead.

Only The Best People

Posted 12/07/2018

Trump promised to only hire the best people:

  1. Michael Flynn – National Security Adviser, turned out to be a Foreign Agent for another country. Has plead guilty to Felony counts.
  2. Paul Manafort – Campaign Manager, also turned out to be a Foreign Agent for another country. Has been convicted on (8) Felony counts and has plead guilty to other Felony counts.
  3. Rick Gates – Deputy Campaign Manager, has plead guilty to Felony counts.
  4. George Popolopodus – Trump Campaign Foreign policy adviser. Has plead guilty to Felony count.
  5. Michael Cohen – Trump’s personal Lawyer, has plead guilty to several Felony counts.
  6. Rex Tillerson – Secretary of State. Trump said Tillerson was “as dumb as a rock”
  7. Jeff Sessions – Attorney General. Trump said “Jeff Sessions never took control of the Justice Department”
  8. Scott Pruitt – Environmental Protection Agency. Pruitt was facing more than a dozen investigations into his taxpayer-funded travel, questionable spending decisions, use of aides to conduct personal errands and other matters when he resigned.
  9. Wilbur Ross – Commerce Secretary – Ross may have violated conflict-of-interest rules while divesting hundreds of millions of dollars in assets, two watchdog organizations have alleged.
  10. Ryan Zinke – Interior Secretary. Ryan Zinke has been the subject of at least 15 investigations or requests for probes, ranging from his use of private travel to threatening two Alaska Republican senators over one of their votes on health-care legislation.

Trump’s “Guilty till Proven Innocent” Complaint

Posted 12/06/2018

When Brett Kavanaugh was accused of Sexual Assault during his confirmation hearings, Donald Trump complained that Kavanaugh was being considered “Guilty until proven Innocent”

Donald Trump has used the complaint, that the Media considers people “Guilty until proven Innocent” on several occasions, however he does not call himself out for doing the same thing.

In 1989 Donald Trump took out a full page ad in New York Newspapers declaring the “Central Park 5” Guilty and demanding that they receive the death penalty. When DNA evidence proved that they were innocent, Trump refused to change his opinion.

After the 2016 Election, Trump claimed that Democrats were guilty of “Voter Fraud”. He even created the  “Trump Voter Fraud Commission” to investigate the claims that Trump had already declared the Democrats of being Guilty of.

The  “Trump Voter Fraud Commission” was dismantled after it was not able to find any serious Voter Fraud. They did however, find several Trump voters who has voted twice. Trump, of course, never apologized for declaring the Democrats of being “Guilty until proven Innocent”.

Once again, in 2018, Trump claimed Democratic Voter Fraud, he accused Democrats of voting, then changing their clothes and voting again, even though he has not provided any evidence. Once again, Trump said that the Democrats were “Guilty until proven Innocent”.

It is a very ironic, that the biggest likelihood of Voter Fraud in 2018 was committed by the Republicans in North Carolina. The North Carolina Secretary Of State has refused to certify the elections because of Voter Fraud evidence, including evidence that Republicans paid people to go door to door collecting absentee ballots. In several cases one person witnessed the signatures of 40-50 voters, and many of the absentee ballots cast for the Democratic Candidates were never actually handed in.

Another indicator that Trump is hypocritical about his “Guilty until proven Innocent” complaint lies in the manner in which he treated Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

The Republicans have investigated Hillary for 25 years. She could well be the most investigated person on the planet. However, after 25 years of investigations, Hillary has never once been charged with a crime. So, when Trump repeated called her “Crooked Hillary” during the campaign, was he saying she was “Guilty until proven innocent?

10 Random Thoughts about Trump

Posted 12/05/2018

  1. Does a five (5) time Draft Dodger, have the right to say a Vietnam Veteran whose plane was shot down, captured and tortured for many years, was not a War Hero?
  2. Can A Presidential Candidate who hires a Foreign Agent for another Country as his Campaign Manager, and another Foreign Agent to be his National Security Adviser, really say that he “Hires The Best People”
  3. Can a person who mocks a Disabled Reporter, a Gold Star Family and a Sexually Assaulted woman claim that he is “Acting Presidential”
  4. Should a person say that having sex with women in the New York area, and avoiding Sexually Transmitted diseases, was his own Vietnam?
  5. Can a President who has cheated on 100% of his wives, walked out on 80% of his children and divorced 67% of his wives really represent a Party that claims to be the “Family Values Party”
  6. If a President cannot Balance the Budget during a “Booming Economy”, when can he?
  7. If a President increases the National Debt by 2.75 Billion per day, how will be complete his promise to “Wipe-Out” the National Debt?
  8. Should a President who promised us that Mexico would pay for the Wall, threaten to shut down the Government if Americans are not willing to pay for it?
  9. When a President says avoiding the payment of taxes, makes him a smart person, is he encouraging all Americans to avoid paying their taxes?
  10. If our current President removed the words, Hoax, Rigged, Witch Hunt, Crooked Hillary, Angry Democrats and No Collusion from his vocabulary, would he have anything left to say?

Russian Sanctions and Trump Tower Moscow

Posted 12/01/2018

It was during and event in July 2015 when, while campaigning for the Republican Presidential Nomination, Donald Trump was first asked about his feelings about the Sanctions President Obama had placed on Russia. In response, Mr. Trump indicated that he felt that he could have a good relationship with Vladimir Putin, and that sanctions should not be needed.

Of course at that time, there were several things we did not know:

  1. The person that Trump had selected to ask him the question, was Maria Butina, who is currently charged with conspiracy, and acting as an unregistered Foreign Agent for Russia.
  2. Mr. Trump was actively working on the Trump Tower Moscow project.
  3. Financing for the Trump Tower Moscow project had been approved by VTB Bank, a Russian State Owned Bank, which because of the Russian Sanctions, Trump could not do business with, until those sanctions were removed.

Was Mr. Trump’s feeling about the Russian Sanctions, influenced by his proposed Trump Tower Moscow deal, whose financing depended on those sanctions being removed?

Michael Flynn, who was Mr. Trump’s first National Security Adviser, plead guilty for lying to the FBI. What Mr. Flynn had lied about, was the fact that he did in fact reach out and talk to Russia about the lifting of sanctions, during the transition period. He had testified to the FBI that he had not.

The Michael Flynn Guilty plea, created a problem for his Deputy National Security Adviser, KT McFarland, who had also told the FBI that the subject of sanctions were never brought up during their talks with Russia. After Flynn plead guilty, she quickly contacted the FBI to tell them that she was mistaken when she claimed that the subject of Russian sanctions had never come up.

The question that many people have asked is, why did Flynn lie about talking to Russia about the sanctions? While technically a violation of the “Logan Act”, no one ever gets convicted for it, and it was not a totally outrageous act for a transition team.

Did Michael Flynn lie to the FBI to protect Donald Trump from being exposed for securing financing from Russian Owned VTB which was a sanctioned Bank? And, does this explain why Donald Trump pressured James Comey so hard to stop the investigation into Michael Flynn?

Even though Mr. Trump had signed a “Letter of Intent” for the Trump Tower Moscow project, he claimed that all consideration of that project ended in January 2018. However the recent Plead Agreement that Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen has agreed to, states that work on the Trump Moscow Tower project continued into June 2016.

Question: What else happened in June 2016?

Answer: In June 2016 it was reported that Russia had hacked into the DNC computers.

However, why would the Trump Tower Moscow project have to be scraped, because Russia hacked the DNC computers? What does one have to do with the other?

Is it possible that these are connected?

What did Russia know:

  1. Russia knew about the Trump Tower Moscow project.
  2. Russia knew that Trump had lied about it.
  3. Russia knew about the financing of the Trump Tower Moscow through a sanctioned bank.
  4. Russia knew that Trump did not want to be exposed obtaining financing from a Russian sanctioned bank, especially since he had campaigned to have those sanctions removed.
  5. Russia knew that Trump was now compromised.
  6. Russia knew that they now owned him.

If Russia’s first step, was to find compromised candidate, they certainly had one with Donald Trump.

If Russia’s second step, was to help get their compromised candidate elected, that would be when the hacking of the DNC, the release of e-mails by WikiLeaksa and the Russian Social Media attacks would come into play.

Michael Flynn is scheduled to be sentenced this week. The supporting documentation that the Special Prosecutors office will submit, should provide us with more details. This should be very interesting.

Poor James Comey

Posted 11/30/2018

It was not enough that James Comey handed Donald Trump the 2016 Presidential Election, by announcing that he was re-opening the Clinton e-mail investigation (2) weeks before the election, and at the same time, not announcing that there was an investigation into the Trump Campaign’s involvement with Russia.

Comey closed, for a second time, the investigation into the Clinton e-mails (1) week later, but still neglected to share the fact, that the Trump Campaign was under investigation, with the American Voters.

Instead of kissing Comey’s ass for screwing Hillary Clinton, and handing Trump the Presidential Election, Donald Trump, in an effort to Obstruct Justice, decided to fire Comey for refusing to shut down the Flynn Investigation.

Michael Flynn, who Trump selected to be his National Security Adviser, ended up pleading guilty. I will never understand why Donald Trump tried so hard to protect someone who turned out to be a Foreign Agent for another country or why Trump selected a Foreign Agent to be his National Security Adviser.

Comey should not feel alone though. Jeff Sessions also refused Donald Trump’s attempts to Obstruct Justice, and was publicly ridiculed by Trump for almost (2) years, until Trump finally forced him to resign.

James Comey has been subpoenaed by the Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee to testify next week. James Comey has requested that this hearing be held in public, but the Republicans insist on making this a closed door hearing. You gotta wonder why the Republicans are afraid of a public hearing.

There are really only (3) possible subjects for this hearing:

  1. They could pin a medal on Comey for being such a great public servant, but this appears to be highly unlikely.
  2. They could re-open the Hillary Clinton Investigation, because Republicans have only investigated her for 25 years, and they still have nothing to show for it, except them holding their “tiny dicks” in their hands.
  3. They could ask him on what basis did he feel he had the right, to stop Donald Trump from Obstructing Justice.

Poor James Comey might be the most hated person in America:

  • The Democrats hate him for screwing Hillary Clinton out of the 2016 Presidential election
  • The Republicans hate him because he refused to allow Donald Trump to Obstruct Justice.

Should be a very interesting hearing next week. It is sad that Republicans will not allow us to see it.

Ukrainian Ships and Sailors

Posted 11/29/2018

On Sunday 11/25/2018, Russian forces boarded and captured  Ukrainian ships off of the coast of Crimea in the Sea of Azov.  The Seized Ukrainian military vessels were last seen in a port of Kerch, Crimea.

On 11/29/2018 Donald Trump tweeted that he was cancelling his previously scheduled meeting with Vladimir Putin because: “The Ukrainian ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from Russia”.

Is cancelling the meeting with Putin the best way to get the Ukrainian ships and sailors returned to Ukraine? Some Presidents might consider this meeting as a great opportunity to address and resolve the issue face to face.

Why would Donald Trump pass on this opportunity?

  1. Does Trump lack the BALLS to hold Putin’s feet to the fire?
  2. Is Trump afraid of Putin?
  3. Does Putin have leverage over Trump?

While I believe that all of these above things are true, I do not believe any of them are the real reason why Trump cancelled his meeting with Putin, because until today, Trump did not appear to be very concerned about the Ukrainian ships and soldiers.

However, what did happen today was, Michael Cohen Plead Guilty and admitted, that he and Trump had worked on a Trump Tower project to be located in Moscow through-out the Presidential Campaign, even though Trump had on numerous occasions stated that he had no dealings in Russia or any plans to do business in Russia.

It was immediately after Cohen Plead Guilty, and exposed the Moscow Trump Tower plans when Trump cancelled the meeting.
